Java Applets

• Yet another Metric converter applet open source, licensed under the GPL.

• Equation evaluator/grapher rudimentary, but fun. Be sure to start up the grapher if you try this out.

• Mathematical formula renderer Type in simple ASCII strings (e.g. x^2) and see them rendered as mathematical formulæ This applet plugs into a BBS-style conferencing web application, which is really cool, but lost funding before it was ever marketed. :-(

• Hue/Saturation/Brightness as illustrated by a tiny java applet. -- (view source code)  Yes, I know swing has a dialog to do this now, but this applet is still handy for selecting HTML colors.

• reverse text typed into either of two text fields. Good for sending !segassem terces

• colorized HTML text -- kinda like this  (hard-to-read, but fun). Allows you to copy/paste the HTML source. If you like, you can download the whole mess (including source code)

Java Application

• JDBC/Swing query tool, available from Source Forge It’s optimized for MySql, but also has some MS-SQL support, through a layer of abstraction aimed at providing generalized database capabilities.
